Developed as a proposal for Hotel Miramare in Crikvenica, this apartment suite reinterprets hospitality through the lens of privacy, flexibility, and uninterrupted views of the Adriatic. Miramare itself forms part of the town’s early tourism heritage, with origins in the beginning of the 20th century and a recent renovation that renewed its historic presence on the waterfront.

The suite is conceived as an open and adaptable interior organized around a central timber volume that discreetly separates sleeping and lounge functions while integrating media, storage, and circulation. This architectural element allows the space to remain fluid, preserving openness without sacrificing comfort or clarity.

Floor-to-ceiling glazing becomes the defining gesture of the project, drawing the sea deep into the room and establishing a constant dialogue between interior and horizon. A restrained material palette of warm wood, textured surfaces, soft neutrals, and carefully placed accents introduces depth and character while maintaining a calm atmosphere suited to longer stays.

Designed to feel both elevated and effortless, the proposal offers a more residential interpretation of the hotel suite, quietly luxurious, spacious, and intrinsically connected to its coastal setting.
