Designed for a residential development in Vabriga, Istria, this collection of apartments explores how interiors can adapt to different scales of living while maintaining a unified architectural language. Located within the municipality of Tar-Vabriga, just north of Poreč and close to the Lanterna coastline, the area is known for its olive groves, vineyards, and relaxed Mediterranean character.

The proposal includes a range of apartment sizes, from compact one-bedroom layouts to more generous family residences, each carefully organized to maximize daylight, comfort, and connection to outdoor terraces. Open-plan living zones merge lounge, dining, and kitchen functions into bright social spaces, allowing even smaller footprints to feel expansive and efficient.

A calm palette of pale oak, natural stone, soft textiles, and warm neutrals creates continuity throughout the development. Vertical timber detailing, sculptural lighting, and understated furnishings introduce character without overwhelming the interiors, giving every unit a refined yet approachable atmosphere.

Bedrooms are conceived as quiet retreats, with integrated textures, soft lighting, and direct access to natural views or balconies. Bathrooms continue the same language through stone surfaces, floating vanities, and minimalist detailing that balances elegance with practicality.

Rather than treating apartment size as a limitation, the design responds to each layout individually by offering smaller homes with clarity and openness, and larger residences with added layers of comfort, entertaining space, and privacy.

Set within one of western Istria’s most desirable residential zones, the project combines contemporary living with the slower rhythm of the Adriatic landscape.
